DONALD TRUMP withdraws Florida lawsuit against New York!!

After a judge imposed sanctions totaling nearly one million dollars on Trump and his legal team in a separate case involving Hillary Clinton, Trump has decided to drop his lawsuit against the attorney general of New York, which was filed in Florida.

That concludes the conflict between New York Attorney General Tish James and former President Donald Trump.

On Friday, Trump's legal team withdrew a lawsuit that James had filed in November in Florida to prevent her from accessing a Sunshine State-based trust that holds many of his business assets.

The former president "hereby voluntarily dismisses his claims in this action," according to the one-page filing.

Just a few weeks earlier, James had filed a lawsuit against Trump, three of his adult children, and his business empire for engaging in dishonest financial practices. She wants an order prohibiting Trump from making real estate transactions in New York for five years and up to $250 million.

Trump has slammed the lawsuit, including after James got a judicial order in November that put an independent watchdog in charge of his business dealings while the New York case is going on. The case is still pending.

Trump's lawyers didn't say why they dropped his lawsuit in Florida right away. However, the federal judge in charge of the case recently called his claims "both vexatious and frivolous."

The same Florida judge also ordered nearly $1 million in sanctions against Trump and his attorney, Alina Habba, on Friday morning in a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and federal officials.
